The work of Marcello Gentili has been the subject of multiple art reviews. Each of them rescues a singular feature of its production. In this case, the pen of Patricia Dughero informs us about the value of rescuing the remains of forgotten newspapers, by putting them in dialogue with the painting. In the manner of an original palimpsest, the drawings of Gentilli cover and dis-cover the newspaper, making them an event always renewed. The final poetry of Dughero and the beautiful translation of Natalia Perrotti complete the miracle of the resurrection.
