Fetal death is one of the most complex instances to go through for a pregnant person, it is also for the health teams involved at the time. One of the chapters of the New Amsterdam series addresses this issue, invisible, unauthorized and silenced that questions health professionals: gestational loss. Several questions arise: What happens to those women who must undergo medical procedures after learning of the death of their child? What is the impact on their subjectivity? How do these losses affect health professionals? How to intervene in the duel? What is the role of mental health professionals in these cases? What can you say when there are no words?
