Summary:
The invitation to a new exhibition of the works of Fernand Deligny (1913-1996) represents an opportunity to retrace the life and work of this author. Deligny was a poet, filmmaker, writer and one of the main references in the field of "Éducation Spécialisé" in France. His experiences traced a new language by recording through maps the life trajectories, movements and actions of the bodies of children and adolescents in a situation of marginalisation, whether in relation to society or the law. Deligny created different devices to accompany the forms of existence and “life zones” of these young men and women. This quest allowed Deligny to leave his own mark also in the language of film.
